Dr. Amy Vu is a California Board licensed optometrist, certified to treat and manage diseases of the eye and to use therapeutic pharmacological agents. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Vu received her doctorate of optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has extensive clinical experience in comprehensive vision examination, fitting specialty contact lenses and managing in refractive surgery.
Dr. Vu is a clinical director of TLC Laser Center in Newport Beach. She oversees patients pre and post operatively who have undergone refractive surgeries as Lasik, PRK (photorefractive keratoplasty), implantable contact lenses (ICL), Intacs, pterygium removals and cataract surgeries. She is very experienced in the state-of-art technology for refractive surgery, such as Intralase and Custom Wavefront lasers. |
Dr. Vu is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Associaton and the Orange County Optometric Society. She is also a member of the respected Advisory Board for TLC in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Vu is committed in providing extensive and personalized care to her patients.
Dr. Vu resides in Orange County with her husband David. She enjoys baking, tennis and spending time with her many niece and nephews.

Dr. Carla Ursetta
Dr. Carla Ursetta received her doctorate degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. She is certified by the National Board of Optometry to prescribe therapeutic medications in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Ursetta graduated with cum laude honors from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is a member of the California Optometric Association and has been a member of the the American Optometric Association for over 10 years.
Dr. Ursetta received her clinical training in pediatric care from the prestigious University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago and has completed clinical ocular disease training at the Jamaica Plans VA Hospital in Boston. She has undergone Lasik and cataract surgery co-managment training in Lexington, KY and is also trained to manage speciality contact lens fits, including rigid gas permeable, astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses.

She volunteers her time performing vision screenings in under-served areas in the US and has traveled to Panama to administer free eyecare though the Volunteering Optometric Services of Humanity organization.
